Moore, Walsh & Albright L.L.P. maintains a general trial practice. There is more than 80 years of trial experience among the members. Our practice is fairly evenly divided between civil trials and criminal defense.

  The firm has defended every type of criminal action including but not limited to: traffic offenses (speeding, driving while revoked, driving while intoxicated), possession of controlled substance, statutory rape, vehicular manslaughter, homicide and capital murder. Once, we even tried a stop sign violation to a jury but that is different story entirely.

  Our Civil practice is divided between personal injury and family law. Personal injury actions typically involve automobile accidents and accidents involving dangerous conditions on premises. We represent injured persons. We do not represent insurance companies, school districts, or large corporations. Personal injury is so broad it even includes product liability, work place harassment and discrimination, civil rights violations, and prevailing wage cases. Family law involves divorces, child custody and probate.

  Our firm charges flat fees for criminal defense work. On family law matters it is necessary to use an hourly billing system. Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, if we don’t win, there is no fee.

  Where we practice is a harder question to nail down. Most of the time, we limit ourselves to practicing in the Southeastern portion of Missouri. While we will occasionally travel, this shows Map our usual haunts.
